Before I continue with the vector potrait tutorial I wanted to take some time to explain how Gradient Meshes work. If you are already familiar with gradient meshes, you can skip this one. If not, this is a good read for you as personally I consider gradient meshes the hardest thing to master in Adobe Illustrator.
